Dylan & Sierra's Christmas gift in the "fun" category was a trip to Fort Rapids, which we took this weekend. We were a bit nervous as the reviews were pretty terrible, but we couldn't have had a better time. The size was perfect for a 5 and 6 year old and Friday night we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Although it was all a bit dated, our room was clean and comfy and the waterpark was clean (well as clean as any waterpark is anyway).
Anytime we can create memories rather than buying more "stuff" we feel like it is a win! A great time was had by all. The only complaint is that we left Miss Savannah at Mawmaw's....we all survived, but needless to say, she's coming along for the next adventure!
